URGENT NOTICE

TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE CARPENTERS’ UNION:

RESUMPTION OF WORK IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

The Government of Ontario has just announced that all work in the construction industry which was previously stopped because of the COVID-19 health emergency can resume on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

While it is good news that the COVID-19 crisis has lessened so that the entire construction industry can start up again, the Carpenters’ Union reminds all of our members of the importance of working safely as this health emergency is certainly not over yet. Therefore, if you have any safety concerns or questions about your jobsites, please contact your Union representatives as soon as possible.
